Welcome to the St Neots Bowmen Website

We are a target archery club with a picturesque shooting ground near St Neots, Cambridgeshire and our own indoor range near Huntingdon.

Our members shoot a variety of compound, recurve and traditional English longbows and range from novices to those competing at county level. We have a friendly and active membership with ages ranging from 7 to over 70. Members can practice at our outdoor ground from dawn to dusk, eleven months a year and at our indoor range at any time.

We run beginners’ courses in the summer and both beginners and new members can use the Club’s own stock of bows, arrows and other equipment.

Beginners Courses

Beginners courses run during the summer months (May to August) every Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm. All equipment provided. All ages welcome.

See Courses page for more details.

Beginners Booklet

The Club's Beginners Booklet has recently been updated. Click here to download a copy (you will need Adobe Reader). The booklet contains guidance on equipment, rules, etiquette, scoring and other useful information.

Corporate / Social Events

St Neots Bowmen recently arranged a social event for a local church men's group which was a great success. Club members were on hand to provide coaching in the use of the club's archery equipment. For further information about archery "taster" events please contact the Chairman or Secretary via the Contact page.
