Beginners' Equipment

When you become a member you can use the beginners' equipment free of charge, so you can shoot straight away. Most members go on to buy their own kit.

Practice

Members can use the outdoor shooting ground any time from dawn to dusk from February to December. The indoor shooting hall can be used any time, all year round.

Club Shoots

Details of our regular shoots are published in our indoor and outdoor schedules - available to all members.

Essential Club Rules

  • Always appoint a field captain
  • Only shoot from the shooting line (red markers) this gives the safe over shoot
  • No clout shooting - only shoot at bosses
  • Any lost arrows must be recorded (see form on noticeboard)

Full club rules, together with club constitution, are displayed on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.
